Taipei Taiwan | Snail Italy Restaurant

Today my friends and I had dinner night at Snail Italy Restaurant, right located in Tianmu, a place without Taipei MRT station. Oh, you could come here by MRT to Shipai station, then take bus to Tianmu North Road. 

There are three Snail restaurant in Taipei. However, Snail Tianmu is a little bit different between the other two stores. Not only in the price, but ingredients. 

Pudding with fruits

The homemade caramel pudding with blueberry, strawberry and orange. To our surprise, this is not that sweet I thought,. The flavour of egg was awesome. Really strong flavour. Pretty smart combine the budding with sour fruits, clever.

Pasta: Linquine and clams with truffles flavour sauce

The clams were fresh. This is our first time that we deeply feel the truffle are closed to us. We love the chewy linquine, and the seasoning of clams. 

Tiger prawn risotto

Prawn from Peng-hu, Taiwan were tasty. Better than Pleoticus muelleri for me. The broth was from lobster. A good bet for a really good meat at Taipei. The flavour was brilliant, I will be back for second time! Oh, the red vegetable was dried tomato, the sour flavour is good with the thick, yummy risotto.

Steak Australia 9+ New York stripe steak

Tough stead I have to say. Never try steak in Italian restaurant, only in steak professional house. The steak looked pretty great but only for eyes. What a pity.

Tiramisu

In genral, food is amazing, service is gentle. The combo deal for Menu del Dia is really really attractive. Good place for sharing with family, friends. Everything were good except steak. I definitely come back here for pasta, risotto and dessert.
