Stir-Fry Ginger Slice with Pork Intestine
Sung yuan, a local style Hakka restaurant in Taoyuan. I have to say you'd better drive here or by a taxi instead of public transportation. Here are my recommendation! 


 My grandfather was Hakka people. As I was child, my family always found tasty Hakka cuisine around Northern Taiwan. We would try and error for the best Hakka food! From rice, pickle, to stir-fry ginger slice with pork intestine. Trust me, not all Hakka restaurant are good.
Hakka style fried
SungYuan Kakka Restaurant locates Taoyuan section, 15 minutes by car from Chungli train station. You'd better come to SungYuan by driving yourself or by taxi. Super inconvenient. However, we family would drive here for 60 minutes for meals. Can you imagine the magic of Hakka food? Hakka food are always with RICE RICE RICE!

Anything special about SungYuan?

First, ask friends around 6-10 people would be the best, then make a reservation or you'd get nothing. Second, get there in advance, 30 mins in case.

Chinese mustard and sliced pork soup
Third, enjoy the stewed bamboo in Hakka style, Hakka style fried, large intestine with ginger slices (sour!) and preserved Chinese mustard and sliced pork soup for your first time visit. You will be really Hakka (rock).
