Emperor Spa Hot Spring
Recommend an amazing private hot spring getaway in Emperor Spa (Huang Chi Spa 皇池), Taipei. A private room for two people is NT$500, pretty reasonable price especially in central of downtown. Weekday 40 mins/Weekend 30 mins.Just head for the lobby, tell the boss lady in the front desk, then pay for it! Do not try to wait someone come here for service. You would get nothing.
Please bring towels by yourself. After the relax session, you could have stir-fried dishes in the dining room. All in all, we have great hot spring experience in Emperor SPA. In general, it's quite good choice when you do not want to Yan Ming National Park for hot spring.
Oh, if you are not in the rush, order the casserole porridge (砂鍋粥) before you take hot spring (because it needs time to cook). Kind the special cuisine here.
